Fretboard Knowledge is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, no database, and sets no tracking cookies. Reading these pages does not create a profile of you.

The contact form

If you write to me through the contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed straight to my own mailbox. They are not stored in a database, not passed to a form service, and not used for anything except answering you. Your email address is only there so I can reply.

The form asks you to answer a small sum. That is a spam check, nothing more, and the answer is not kept. The server briefly records the time of the last few submissions per internet address, so one sender cannot flood the form; those entries expire after an hour.

Analytics

If privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics are added in future, this page will say so explicitly and name the provider.
